LIS2001 offers to teach students skills they can use in every class they take at UF. Get to know your way around information at UF vital to your courses and research.
Starting in the Spring 2014, the Dial Center and the UF Library system will be offering a new course LIS2001 — Introduction to Information Resources. Students can register for both online and face-to-face through ISIS for most Fall terms. The course will be online Spring 2015.
Sections of LIS2001 are taught by UF faculty librarians. In the one-credit LIS2001 course, students will learn how to conduct solid, reliable library research that will help them in every class they take at UF. They will learn critical thinking skills needed to find, evaluate, and use relevant scholarly resources in a variety of disciplines.
