Application Process

The application process for the Dial Center Ambassador Leadership Program consists of two parts:

  • Part I – Complete the application below between 2/9 and 3/4. Do not wait for the deadline to apply as review of application begins as soon as received. Complete the application below.
  • Part II – You will be contacted on the outcome of your application by the 20th of April 2026, and next steps will be provided to the successful candidates.

Important Notes:

  1. The required Ambassador Leadership class meets for 1.5 hours per week (every Tuesday) during the fall and spring semesters.
  2. Ambassadors earn a total of 3 credit hours for completion of the two or one-year program. (One year track earns all 3 credits in the completion of one year, and the two-year track earns one credit in either the fall or summer and 2 credits across the second year fall & spring).These credit hours appear as SPC4905 and count toward the Communication Studies Minor.

  • ALP is a high-challenge, high-support environment. Ambassadors are expected to: • Attend regular meetings and training sessions. • Represent the Dial Center at campus events. • Lead or co-lead service projects. • Engage in courageous dialogues and collaborative initiatives.
