Dr. AJ Jung (sounds like “jungle”) is an Assistant Instructional Professor in the Dial Center. Her primary courses are Intercultural Communication and Intro to Communication Studies, and she also teaches courses on Presentation and Business Communication, Argumentation, Rhetoric, Identity, and Qualitative Research Methods. She has taught undergraduate and graduate courses for over 20 years for Communication Studies programs in California, and Oregon, and has taught at UF since 2018. Her Intercultural and Identity research focuses on Third Culture Kids, individuals who were raised internationally by parents who were sent abroad for their work (missionary, military, business, education, sports, and other work). Her rhetorical research has focused on presidential war rhetoric and the rhetoric around 9/11 and Covid-19.
