Graduate Teaching Assistant

I’m a zooarchaeologist within the University of Florida’s department of anthropology. My research interests include historical ecology and investigating past human-animal relations. My current region of study is the Caribbean. Here, I am running analyses of long-term reef fishing exploitation by indigenous people in the region. The goal of this research is to set a bio cultural baseline of understanding regarding current coral reef conservation efforts in the Caribbean.
