I’m an educator, researcher, speaker, and librarian with a faculty appointment at a large land-grant research university.
As a cis-gendered white woman, I currently live and work as an uninvited but grateful guest on the traditional territory of the Potano and Seminole Peoples.
As an educator and researcher, I am committed to centering people with disabilities and marginalized identities in my work.
In my role as an instruction and outreach librarian, I strive to create inclusive library learning experiences that engage students and support the development of critical information and digital literacies.
I am always learning and unlearning, and I hope to create that space for others. I am grateful for all of the teachers (including those who write about teaching) who’ve led me to a pedagogy of care.
